  • 4-5 cups romaine lettuce 
  • Trader Joe’s Vegan Creamy Dill Dressing 
  • 1/3 cup diced salami 
  • 1/2 red onion, thinly sliced 
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil 
  • 1 avocado, diced 
  • 1/4 cup sunflower seeds 
  • 1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese 
  • Salt, to taste 
  • Fresh cracked pepper, to taste 
  • 1-2 tablespoon(s) fresh dill, optional for serving 


Caramelize the onions by bringing a pan to medium-high heat. Drizzle olive oil and add the thinly sliced onions to the pan. Sauté on medium-high for 1-2 minutes, then bring the heat to low and sauté occasionally until soft and fragrant. *Add more olive oil as they cook if needed. 

Once the onions are cooked, assemble the salad. 

Add romaine to a large bowl. Top with diced salami, diced avocado, caramelized onion, and fresh dill (optional). 

Drizzle the creamy dill dressing over the salad and toss well to combine. 

Garnish with sunflower seeds and parmesan cheese. Season with a little salt and fresh cracked pepper. Enjoy!
