Millington residents have a new place to move, strengthen, and prioritize their health with the opening of Core VIII Pilates Studio, founded by Flaresia Rogers.

Located at 8117 US Highway 51 N., Core VIII opened in late July 2026 with a mission to bring accessible and welcoming fitness options to the Millington community.

Rogers saw a need for more fitness opportunities close to home, particularly for residents who previously had limited studio options in the area. She created Core VIII to provide a space where people of all ages, backgrounds, and fitness levels can feel comfortable working toward their health and wellness goals.

“Core VIII is about creating a space where everyone feels like they belong,” Rogers said. “I wanted to bring something new to my community while making fitness feel approachable, inclusive, and accessible.”

The studio offers Pilates along with other fitness experiences designed to meet members wherever they are in their wellness journey. At the heart of Core VIII is the belief that fitness should be available to everyone, regardless of age, current fitness level, or financial circumstances.

By bringing a boutique fitness experience to Millington, Rogers hopes Core VIII will not only help residents become stronger and healthier but also create a supportive community centered around movement and wellness.
