34; Accountant for Army Corps of Engineers

HOMETOWN: Memphis, TN

I LOVE RUNNING: Running is a great stress reliever to escape life’s daily challenges. I also love competing and being supportive of others within your age group.

BUCKET LIST: I’d like to train for and complete an Ironman 70.3 Triathlon.

UP NEXT: The 2023 St. Jude Half Marathon and 2023 MRTC Road Race Series.

FAVE FITNESS ACCOMPLISHMENT: 2020 Little Rock Half Marathon. Amazing medals!

SPEED BUMPS: I aimed to complete the 2018 St. Jude Marathon for my 30th birthday but unfortunately pulled my hamstring while training and had to take an extended break from running.

MY GROUP: The Breakaway Running Training Group and MRTC.

FAVORITE JAMS: I’m a huge Drake fan, so any of his music.

RECENT RACES: 2023 Great American River Run 5K; 2023 Orion 5K; 2022 St. Jude Marathon

MOST MEMORABLE FITNESS EVENT: The 2022 St. Jude Marathon. I completed my first marathon. Also, my father and I were featured on the cover photo for the St. Jude fundraiser page in 2019.

BINGE-WATCHING: Your Honor on Showtime.

BEST EATS: Venice Kitchen and their Rasta Pasta.

DREAM DINNER COMPANY: Kobe Bryant. I would love to pick his brain and learn more about his philosophy on the Mamba Mentality.

GO-TO GEAR: Garmin Forerunner 45 and HOKA Clifton’s. It’s pretty cool sharing the same name as your favorite running shoes!

INSPIRATION TO BE FIT: Seeing my 62-year-old pops being physically fit and still able to run at a fantastic pace! I was also his biggest motivation for falling in love with the sport. We participate together in a lot of the local races.

ON MY NIGHTSTAND: I’m currently reading “Win the Day: 7 Daily Habits to Help You Stress Less & Accomplish More” by Mark Batterson.

PET PEEVE: People who talk on the phone loudly at the gym.

FAV INDULGENCE: I love tasting and trying different types of beers. Memphis has some of the best!
