Sundara Wellness Center is the first of its kind in Memphis. This new center is focused on integrating every aspect of wellness through a holistic, personalized, and preventative-care approach. It was founded by a collective of healthcare specialists who share a vision of offering complete and accessible care for all.

A clinic organized and run by all women, Sundara’s mission is to provide a place of community and healing for men and women through their services. Clients will be able to receive care through acupuncture, Chinese medicine, massage therapy, nutrition, physical therapy, Pilates, and yoga. Sundara designs unique wellness plans for each individual. Additionally, they have a specialized focus on women’s health: fertility, prenatal and postpartum care, pelvic floor rehabilitation, and general women’s primary care.

The goal of Sundara, according to owner, President, and licensed acupuncturist Candace Billings is, “Whole-body care starts on the inside. Beyond physical, nutritional, and preventative health care, it’s also about becoming more supportive with education, mindfulness, and community. It’s about learning to love yourself.”

With all of their practitioners under one roof, they are able to communicate and coordinate to support clients with guided, engaged, and whole-body health care. Sundara also seeks to collaborate with local physicians, clinics, and midwives as an extension of a patient’s current healthcare needs.

The clinic is located in the heart of Midtown at 1314 Peabody Avenue. The 8,000-square-foot facility is newly renovated and has 10 private exam rooms, a Pilates studio, a yoga studio, and a retail shop.
